Trap Shooters Selected to 2010 World Championship Team USA Shooting COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - -(AmmoLand.com)- Following the trap portion of the 2009 Shotgun Fall Selection Match, 12 trap shooters were selected to represent the U.S. at the 2010 World Championships in Munich, Germany. The top three finishers from a combination of the match scores from the 2009 USA Shooting National Championships as well as the match and final scores from the 2009 Fall Selection will make up the 2010 World Team.

Oktoberfest is a German holiday traditionally held from late September to early October. The festival is sixteen days long with plenty of beer, food, and live entertainment. The largest festival in the world is held in Munich, Germany. You can expect chicken, roast pork, knuckle of pork, grilled fish, sausages, pretzels, potato or bread dumplings, cheese noodles, and potato pancakes to be on the menu at any Oktoberfest. In the United States many cities and small towns host their own festivals in honor of the German heritage of the United States.

Starting this week, in addition to headlining, he’s taking his brother’s band Pearly Gate Music, a band in which he also drums, on a month long route through Europe. Then after a short break, beginning early November he’s taking the same group on the road for a clockwise traverse of North America.

Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge believes the Bavarian giants could be in for one of their toughest ever Champions League campaigns this season. Bayern go into their first group match against Maccabi Haifa at Tel Aviv on Tuesday knowing they have to make a positive start if they are to help erase the memory of last season’s humiliation to Barcelona. The Spanish giants, who went on to beat Manchester United 2-0 in the final, handed Bayern one of their most painful defeats in Europe when they emerged 5-1 winners over two legs at the quarter-finals stage.
