Mark Lester had been a very good friend of Michael’s for years. In a recent interview he stated that he donated his love juice for potential use by Michael’s doctors. Apparently this was done consensually and they were both aware Lester’s sperm could be used.

In many places it is a common practice to stop a radical prostatectomy (prostate gland removal) if the surgeon finds that the patient has positive lymph nodes. Since positive nodes are considered systemic disease as opposed to a localized disease, many physicians have felt there is no reason to complete the surgery and subject the man to the potential negative side effects of the surgery. In a recent study, the overall and cancer specific survival in men with prostate cancer and positive pelvic nodes with terminated or completed radical prostatectomy was evaluated.

Covering this event (for The Observer-Reporter) back in 2007, including shooting the photos, is what started me on the path to become the PR person at MAPS... Wings of Freedom Tour Lands At Akron-Canton Glenn Smith served as a bombardier aboard a B-24 Liberator. He flew 27 missions before being shot down over Munich, Germany and becoming a Prisoner of War through the last year of World War II. Smith, who now lives at Danbury in North Canton, visited the MAPS Air Museum on Sunday to see the last authentic combat B-24 in the world that is still flying.

My football deficiency is acting up again. I’m doing a little pre-sampling legwork and have the Titans-Cowboys game on TV. Friday Night Fights is on hiatus this week (next Friday is, sadly, the season finale), so there’s nothing better to watch until the Dodgers game starts. When it does, though, I’ll keep watching this money rotted, corporate infested, ego-driven excuse for football until the final whistle. Less than two weeks, man. I can hold on. I can do it.
